Guitarist & vocalist Tom Misch joins fellow Brit, Yussef Dayes for this groovy album filled with lots of jazz drums. This album was consumed on a warm day which leaves it’s impression as a great album for a warm day (eloquent, I know). Seriously though, this album is super groovy, the typical Tom style with a lot more freeform song structure and fantastic drums from Dayes. I don’t think this one topped Geography for me, but it is still a great record for Tom, and certainly a great introduction to Yussef Dayes.
Before my favorite songs – the rare specification – I loved the I Did It For You, Last 100, Kyiv stretch. Also, below is a great set from him rather than a song. That’s all.
Favorite songs: Festival, Nightrider, Sensational, Lift Off, I Did It For You, Last 100, Kyiv, Julie’s Mangos
