365 – New Music Daily

If you know me well, I know what you’re thinking. How in the fuck does this fit the criteria? One of the better albums from my favorite artist is on this list? Let it be known that: 1) I have listened to this album before, but yes, only once and 2) I know some of these songs incredibly fucking well. A lot of them have been in rotation. However, yes, only once front to back. Shame on me, give me all the shit I deserve.

Give me all the shit I deserve especially because this album is fantastic and is a great representation of why I love Paak so much. The sonic versatility of Paak is showcased on this – in the construction of the songs, the differentiating melodies, the two part songs (which was showcased incredibly well on Oxnard, and again here on tracks like Winner’s Circle), and the variety of deliveries that he is capable of, all on display here. I love this man to death.

Favorite songs: All of them are good. If I had to pick two it would be: Make it Better and Winner’s Circle.
