Voices – Hall & Oates

I feel like I keep having Hall & Oates on this quest because of one fucking song – Do What You Wanna Be, Be Who You Are. I heard that shit and I understood that maybe there is more than just Rich Girl, a song that I teeter between thinking is pretty good and peering longingly at long drops after hearing it. Sorry if that’s a bit too morbid.

I tried this one again to get some funky shit. But I got no funky shit. Instead, I was greeted with a song even worse than Rich Girl, You Make My Dreams Come True. I’m sure the commercialization of the song didn’t help, but I absolutely despise that song, lord. I was on a plane when listening to this, looking out my window at mountains, wondering if life was still worth living. Fuck this album because of that one song. You have to listen to it now.

Favorite songs: United State, Hard to Be in Love With You, Gotta Lotta Nerve, Every Time You Go Away, Diddy Doo Wop

  1. Ugh, I’m sorry that you had to endure this entire album. To me, Hall & Oates have one truly great song and that is Sara Smilehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYEpFJhuu1E

The rest of their stuff finds me reaching-over to change the radio station. ________________________________
