King Gizzard has continued to prove to be one of, if not the most versatile band currently putting out music. Contrasting this to their most recent (and soon to be reviewed) album, you would think that they were created by totally different bands. This album is atmospheric, psychedelic rock, and it’s really fucking good.
Their percussion is fucking incredible, and often written to be so complex that they perform live songs with two drummers. Not to mention how amazing their transitions are – listening to a King Gizz album is like listening to non-stop jamming for 45 minutes – it’s a fucking great experience. I can’t understate how impressively creative and sonically on it this band is – whatever they do they do it well.
