Denzel Curry’s 2018 ZUU comes following the well received TA13OO, a “hardcore rap” (although fuck that term) album which is/was often regarded as the best Denzel project before maybe his most recent album. ZUU has a very similar aggressive feel but maybe toned down a bit, as it almost feels like Denzel was starting to go more towards his current style in this album while staying true to some of the TA13OO styles. Anyways, there was some good shit on here regardless but not one of my favorites.
