You had me John. You fucking had me!! You started this shit off so good. Even the Prelude is fire and Let’s Get Lifted is crazy!!! Used to Love U and Alright are groovy as fuck and I will always love (you) She Don’t Have to Know.

The Kanye shit is still good. The Snoop one is great. Then what the actual fuck happened! This descends into some of the most cliche corny shit I have heard in some time. Like maybe up there with The Big Day. People can fawn over Ordinary People and while that is the best of the corny shit it is so god damn uninspiring after what you began with dude come on.

I have realized there are certain reactions that different albums elicit in this journey.

There is great shit that can honestly put even the biggest curmudgeon in the mood to dance.

There is some stuff that loses me but then songs parsed throughout bring it back and make the album palatable.

Then, there what is as frustrating and as physically infuriating as listening to an entire Lil Pump album. An album that starts off god damn hot and then falls apart. Free TC is an example of an album where the first half is fantastic and the second half is not as good, but it’s a completely different style (and has shit like Blase and some good club cuts) and not a whack, corny collection of songs (saved by a Lauryn Hill ending) that leaves you with simply a bad taste in your mouth.

The crazy thing is I don’t even rate the album that badly. It just frustrates me. You had me John and you left me annoyed. So much that I will just say favorite songs above. God Dammit.
