  • Bleach – Nirvana

Bleach! I kinda didn’t know this album existed, but I’m glad I listened to it. It is way more metal-y than the other Nirvana records which doesn’t entirely suit my ear, but Cobain + Grohl will always do it for me. A friend of mine (Hi Frank) told me that In Utero is sort of

  • Look, I’m sorry the good reviews aren’t as fun as the bad ones. A critique I’ve had for a while. This is a good album, Roberta Flack is a great singer and this has one of the better songs of all time on it. The high point is the opener though, which does make it

  • Travis Scott. The controversial. The man named Jacque. The shortest 5’10 man on the planet. The Kardashian associate. The bystander. The man who worked with Kanye on Yeezus, only to turn around and rap the following lines on this album: Sprinkle a little season on the saladRelieve my heart of malice, hit my palaceStroke my

  • Not much to say, so let’s keep it simple: Some great soul from one of the best. Favorite songs: Let’s Stay Together, So You’re Leaving, What is this Feeling, Judy, It Ain’t No Fun To Me

  • I’m not sure if I’ve just grown less fond of earls style, but this one didn’t hit as hard as some previous earl releases. The raps are great, but I think his delivery has just lost its luster with me a bit. Beats fantastic as usual. Firmly ‘not for me but maybe for you’. Favorite

  • FKJ’s first release French Kiwi Juice is a groovy album filled with some fantastic showcases of the French artists multi-instrumental abilities. After listening to this, it’s clear why many say he is absolutely incredible to see live. It gets a little bit house-y to a fault at some points in the record, but overall, it’s

  • Not too much to say here – dancehall, not my favorite from Wizkid. Made in Lagos a lot better. Saxophone redeemed a lot of songs but the highs of his previous album were not reached, also felt out of the 2 Dancehall albums I’ve listened to this year, Rema’s is far superior. Still not bad.

  • Welcome Home – Aries

If you’re reading this, please don’t make fun of me. Actually do. I can’t defend it if you do. God dammit. This is kind of a guilty pleasure listen. I’ll let it speak for itself and take all the shit I deserve. I only liked two or three songs but that feels like too many.

  • A very nicely put together album showcasing the talents of a Chicago man named Alex (who that is!). I enjoyed this album, short and sweet, however it came with some of the pitfalls of his previous work – some really overly dissonant sounds for my ears, as well as some subpar singing. I don’t think

  • How can this not be good! Some incredible jazz/r&b/soul instrumentalists collaborating to create some tracks with beautiful vocals from phoelix, or some incredible jazzy&smooth instrumental tracks. I’ve said it and I will continue to say it, put some saxophone on a song and I am most likely game unless it is some absolute dog shit.
